Upcoming: HL @ Church Of The Ascension
The Handicap Lot (HL) will appear this Saturday at The Church Of The Ascension. Details as follow:
Date and Time: 28th June, Saturday 6pm
Address: 13 Francis Thomas Drive, Singapore 359339
Venue: Church of the Ascension (SAJC) basket ball court.
Theme: Chillin’ under the stars, 50’s drive in.
And here's what our dear band music director, Manson, has to say!
"We've prepared a set containing some really 'old-school' songs. I would say this is a unique opportunity where we could play the genre we like as a band (you’d be surprised we are actually old-school at heart). Personally, I am very excited and looking forward not just to entertain, but also share our passion and life journey with the audience.

We are back on the road!
It was a quiet month for Handicap Lot, with the various ones of us going away for church camps, mission trips etc etc. Good news is... we are BACK!

First gig done and dusted
Hi there, we're through with Handicap Lot's debut gig at Ngee Ann Alumni Clubhouse on Friday! All of us in the band were eager to play in our first-ever gig together, and we sure did enjoy ourselves when THE moment finally came! Big thanks to Ngee Ann Poly Campus Crusade for hosting us on this ocasion, and we've been extremely privileged to have been part of this event.

Almost ready to go!
The Handicap Lot is almost done and ready to go on the road for our first gig at Ngee Ann Alumni House this coming Friday! It's been a grueling period of rehearsals, practices and honing our own craft in musicianship (yeah and we know too... guiltily, that we haven't been updating this site for AGES).
Just a quick update, early this week the band has just completed a 'checkout' - a term we use for a full dress rehearsal, where friends, family and trusted fellows are invited to 'QC' the band's performance. This means the 'inner circle' has deemed us ready to go for our first-ever gig this week! We are grateful too, for the many constructive ideas and suggestions offered, and will use them to fine-tune what we already have on our plate.
Another quick and important info regarding this Friday's (April 18) gig, we'll be performing at the Ngee Ann Poly Alumni Clubhouse, Level 2, from 6.30pm. So do catch us there if you can!

From The Band
Hi we are The Handicap Lot, formed in February this year for a season of gigs. Apart from scheduled performances at Ngee Ann Poly and Singapore Poly, we are currently looking for places to gig at from May to July. Our genre? We cover songs from acts like Evanescence, James Morrison, dcTalk, Jaime Cullum, John Mayer, Lifehouse etc, as well as a couple of our own compositions. We mainly do 'cafe-style' gigs where the mood is more relaxed and 'chill', rather than a standard concert concept.
