As of today, we have three confirmed gigs at Ngee Ann Poly, Nanyang Poly and Singapore Poly. Talks are underway for a couple of other potential concerts.

From The Band

Hi we are The Handicap Lot, formed in February this year for a season of gigs. Apart from scheduled performances at Ngee Ann Poly and Singapore Poly, we are currently looking for places to gig at from May to July. Our genre? We cover songs from acts like Evanescence, James Morrison, dcTalk, Jaime Cullum, John Mayer, Lifehouse etc, as well as a couple of our own compositions. We mainly do 'cafe-style' gigs where the mood is more relaxed and 'chill', rather than a standard concert concept.

A Note from our Music Director

This band has a unique combination of talents, personality and character, brought together by our common love for music. With each one's style coming from a different musical influence, you can expect us to play quite a broad range of musical genres like Pop, Rock,  even RnB and Fusion. We hope you'll come mingle, chill and relax with us... and (I hope you do!!) enjoy what we have to offer.  =)

Who we are... and Why the name...

Whether we know it or not, we're all handicapped in some way. We're not as perfect as we sometimes think we are. We might look alright on the outside but we all have times where we feel socially challenged, mentally inadequate, emotionally incapable or spiritually inactive. 

So here we are. The handicap lot. A regular bunch of eccentric folk unafraid to ackowledge our shortcomings. We get by. But not without help. We hope to share our journey. Where we've been, where we are, where we're going and most of all, who goes with us.
